DIY Coin Purse

What You Will Need:
Material
Outer and Lining: I used cotton and flannel.
Buttons
Elastic Cord or Velcro
Sewing Machine
Size and cut your material.
Pin together and sew. Leaving a one to two inch opening.
This is my favorite way to trim the material in preparation for turning it inside out!
See how i cut that end where the opening it? I choose to cut it like that because it doesn’t come apart as easy while sewing. It also prevents any dents or curves from happening in the lining.
Turn it inside out.
Iron it flat.
Fold it and figure out how much of the sides you’ll sew.
The opening from where you turned it inside out… You’ll want to make sure that, that end is the fold/flap, if you decide to use elastic cord to close your coin purse. If you’re using Velcro then it doesn’t matter which end the opening is at, as long as you close it.
Sew the sides together.
Choose your buttons! I have a lot to pick from..
Once you choose your buttons, add some elastic cord or Velcro pieces and your done.
