Baby Bib.

Baby Bib

A Great Homemade Baby Shower Gift

I found a great bib pattern recently. It’s perfect; great size and it’s printable. I decided to make a bib as one of my baby shower gifts for a friend.

I cut out some strips of various shapes and sizes from fabrics i thought might go together. The piece in the middle that is black and white, with the vintage flower… That was given to me in a box of scrap material a while back. I’ve always liked it but never could find a good way to use it. It was an awkward shape.. But i love it with this bib!

What You Will Need

A Pattern, Fabric (Fat Quarters are perfect size for a bib), Sharp Scissors, Straight Pins, Pencil to trace your pattern with, and Velcro.

Select your fabric.

Trace your pattern.

I used Muslin for the back of the bib. This way it is light weight.

Pin along the lines.

Sew along your lines, leaving a 2-3 inch opening on one side.

Trim the edges.

Turn inside out and iron.

Attach the Velcro.

Ta Da!

I personally think it is adorable.
