Homemade Mints

Creamy Butter Mints

 What You Will Need:

3 tablespoons Reduced Fat Cream Cheese, softened

4 to 4 1/2 cups Confectioners Sugar

1/4 cup Granulated Sugar

1/4 teaspoon Mint Extract

Food Coloring *Optional*

Directions:

Step One: Beat the cream cheese until soft, about one to two minutes. Add the mint extract and food coloring, if using. Mix well.

Step Two: Add the confectioners sugar, in half cup increments, until the mixture stiffens.

Step Three: Form balls with about 1/2 teaspoon of the mixture.

Step Four: Roll mints in the granulated sugar and flatten with the tines of a fork.

Store in the refrigerator.
