Here are three great websites that i suggest buying ingredients from, if you plan on making your own lip balms.
Tips On Making Your Own Lip Balms
Buying the materials in stores can cost you way more than you realize. Buying online is much cheaper and you get more for your money. If you’re planning on making a lot of lip balms, be sure to do your research before buying anything. Find some solid recipes, and plan out how much you’ll need and how much it will cost.
I try and buy as much of my needed items for one place at a time, to keep the shipping cost down. (Since the packages tend to weigh more when your buying bottles of oil and big containers of wax. lol)
It really is as easy and it seems. No hidden hardships. I personally use lip balm ALL the time. I’m probably addicted. Since making my own lip balms a few years ago, i haven’t bought one lip balm at all. It’s way cheaper to make your own! Plus you get to choose what it looks like, smells like, tastes likes, etc. They make great gifts and even great fundraisers. Plus anything “All Natural” or “Organic” is highly marketable right now. I would much rather pay $3 or $4 for a homemade organic lip balm from someone i know than from a drugstore. Go ahead and try it! Warrning: You’ll love it.
