Homemade Apple Pie

I used 8 Green Apples and had some left over. But don’t be afraid to stuff the pie full! It will shrink down after it cools off.. Also, i skipped the homemade pastry and picked up some Pillsbury’s Pie Crust. :)

As you have probably noticed, my doily design didn’t bake well. I’m thinking the knit of the doily that i used was to close together and not loose enough. I will have to try it again with a different doily. It so pretty! Because it didn’t work, it left this weird-gross-bubbly design on the pie so i made a crumb topping and added that to the top for the last ten minutes of baking. It turned out greatly-perfect! Not bad for my first pie, by myself at least. :)
















What a shame the doily idea didn’t work because it looks wonderful. I give you credit for even thinking of doing it, as that would never have crossed my mind. : )
Thanks so much! Yes, i was a bummed it did not work. I will just have to keep trying it out, with different dollies. :)
