Fresh Lemon hand & Body Scrub
If This is your first time making all natural scrubs than this is your best bet. This Lemon Body & Hand Scrub is perfectly easy! Most likely you will already have the ingredients in you kitchen anyways. Go for it & Enjoy!
Your Shopping List & Recipe Ingredients
1/4 Cup of Sugar In The Raw
1/2 Cup of Regular White Sugar
1 Grated Lemon Peel
The Juice from 1 Lemon (About 4 Tbsp)
2-4 Tbsp of Olive Oil or Sunflower Oil
If you prefer ALL organic beauty recipes, here is the organic version of my Lemon Scrub
1/4 Cup of Sugar In The Raw (Raw All-Natural Sugar)
1/2 Cup of Organic White Sugar
1 Grated Lemon Peel- From an Organic Lemon
The Juice from 1 Organic Lemon (About 4 Tbsp)
2-4 Tbsp of Organic Olive Oil
Once you have all your ingredients assembled and ready to go, you can get started right away.
STEP ONE:
Using a peeler, peel the whole lemon. Place your lemon peels in either a food processor or grinder and process as fine as possible. (I use the coffee bean grinder.. Lol)
STEP TWO:
After peeling your lemon, juice it and set aside four Tbsp.
STEP THREE:
In a small or medium metal mixing bowl, combine sugars, lemon peel, lemon juice, and your choice of oil and whisk together.
STEP FOUR:
Determine what consistency you wish your scrub to be.. add extra sugar of either kind to thicken it or add more lemon or oil to thin it out. Once you are done spoon the mixture into a glass jar with a sealing lid.
Store your scrub in the shower, bath, or fridge. This Lemon Scrub holds down a solid three month shelf life. Don’t worry if your scrub separates.. It’s almost impossible for it not to. You can use a spoon, butter knife or popsicle stick to stir it up! I suggest, if you would like to keep it in the shower, using a Popsicle stick-stirrer.
Hope you have fun and enjoy your new scrub!
Praying for you ALL!

Sarah Grace
