On April 9th 2010, we were on our way to Stockton to go see Furious Love. I saw a cloud that looked exactly like a boomerang. I had to do a double take and when I did I felt like God spoke to me. This isn’t just for me, but for all His children.
“As far as you’re thrown in life, is exactly as far as I am willing to go to retrieve you. Weather you’re thrown 10 feet our 100 feet, you can always come back home.”
I’m not a boomerang expert at all! But whatever it is that makes it come back to the person who threw it, that’s Jesus. It doesn’t matter where you’ve gone or what you’ve done, your relationship with Him is worth being retrieved. NO sin or bondage is to big for God to deliver you from. NO distance is to far to God, for Him to travel for you. NOTHING is impossible for Him.
Once a seed of knowledge about the Father is planted you can’t get away from it. When you encounter God and encounter the love of God you wont be the same, you cant peacefully keep living the same way you lived before you met with Him face to face. Its impossible.
Weather you live by His commandments or not, that seed is always going to be there and you’ll know it’s there. You can’t get away from it. God created us to love Him, to have a heart after His. He put us here not necessarily to overcome the darkness, but to shine His light.
God will go to the end of the earth for you! I really felt like He had also said: “You my children are worth the distance. I love you so much and I’m willing to do what ever it takes to keep you in My favor and in My family.”
You can stray away from God, and be lost or blind to Him and His ways. But let me just tell you one of the most freeing revelations of the love of God, and the capacity of His compassion.. It is NEVER to late to ask Him to retrieve you!
He wants you to find hope in the fact that you’re always welcome back. When you go to far, ask Him to retrieve you. One of the many desires of God’s heart is to have relationship with us. To retrieve His children when we stray. That’s where His grace and mercy flows from.
“We don’t deserve anything from God. But we don’t get what we deserve, we get what He deserves.”
In Deuteronomy 30:1-10, it talks about the blessings that the Lord promises to us when we return to Him.
“Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:7
“So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.” Joel 2:13
“Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the LORD; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.” Jeremiah 24:7
“Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Return to Me,” says the LORD of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the LORD of hosts.” Zachariah 1:3
Love,
Sarah
