That we would know who we are in Christ.

Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.  She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your FAITH has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment. Matthew 9:20-22

Now that’s thinking creatively. She took a risk. Rather then running with the wind she dared in faith to run against it. With her faith, she was healed by Christ. She didn’t care that it was against the norm of society, she didn’t bother with letting the enemy distract her. She didn’t listen to that same little voice we hear sometimes.. “Who are you to ask the Mighty God to heal you?” Instead she followed her heart, her heart after God’s heart. Who are we? We are Sons and Daughters of the KING. We have all authority and power in Christ. We believers have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of us. She knew what she wanted and that was God Himself. She knew who her God was. She knew the power Christ holds. She knew how awesome our God is. She knew who she was in Christ. SHE KNEW THAT SHE WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER OF THE KING AND THAT SHE HAD EVERY RIGHT IN CHRIST TO TOUCH THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT AND RECEIVE HEALING. She knew He is called the Healer for a reason. She had FAITH in who He was.

Praying you know who you are in Christ. That you would know who He is and who you are in Him. Know that He has great faith in who you are in Him. He has faith in you. He remains faithful when we are faithless.
